TV Smackdown

Have you ever watched a tv show like America's Next Top Model where they have elaborate, overly dramatic elimination "ceremonies"? And they always say something like "I only have 10 photos (or other random inanimate object) in my hands... One of you will be going home tonight." Which is always a shocker. I've always wanted there to be one time when the condescending jerk says "I only have 10 photos in my hand...none of you will be going home tonight". Maybe their low on ink? I think that'd be pretty spiffy. Just to shake things up a little!

You know, a lot of people ask me what I would like to be when I am older. I've decided I want one of those office jobs like on tv. Something where no one actually does any work and where at some random moment David Spade will declare some sort of prank war. Which is fine, you have nothing better to do. Of course every few weeks their may be some random deadline, but you've already completed your nonexistant work so it's fine. And there's always that one, stupid, poorly-dressed character that makes you wonder how they got the job. Like maybe there weren't many others that applied and they decided to take the next person who walked though the door with a pulse. And they still make enough to go out every night. I want that job!

  1. I know what you mean about those TV reality contest shows. The mood is always so dramatic, but the same thing happens every week. It's like 'REALLY? Someone is going to get ELIMINATED? I never would have guessed.'

Wouldn't it be nice if jobs could be like how they are on TV! I certainly think so. If office jobs were really like they were in The Office, for instance, then maybe they would be more appealing to me. I'm just waiting on a comedy about teachers. A bunch of people who never wanted to grow up would surely lead to daily fun and shenanigans... right? If not, I will cause this fun once I get there. I will.
